Encryption to Protect your Information - SSL Security

When customers use features on the ThirstMonger.com website that involves the transferring of personal information, such as placing an order, ThirstMonger.com requires that a secure connection first be established using 128-bit or 256-bit Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology. During a secure SSL session, data passed back and forth between the customer's computer and ThirstMonger.com's servers is secured through the use of public key cryptography. The customer's computer exchanges key information with ThirstMonger.com's computers to create a private conversation that only the customer's computer and ThirstMonger.com's systems may understand. ThirstMonger.com uses Verisign’s Extended Validation SSL. When you are on a secure page, the address bar will change from "http" to "https." In high security web browsers the address bar will also turn green.

In addition to using SSL encryption in the browser, certain personal information (e.g. passwords) that is stored in ThirstMonger's databases is encrypted.

Third Party Auditing - McAfee Secure

Our site is audited daily using advanced technologies by McAfee Security for vulnerabilities that hackers use to gain unlawful access. If the audit passes McAfees strict tests, then no known vulnerabilities exist and the McAfee secure logo will appear with today’s date.
